One 60-day voyage circling the Land Down Under was terminated in the wake of the death of an senior female passenger who was abandoned by the vessel on a remote island.

The elderly woman had been walking on the tropical location with other travelers from the vessel, but parted ways from the party for a rest. The vessel left without her and came back after some time after the ship staff discovered the woman was unaccounted for.

A major rescue mission found her body the following day.
