Star Rejects Anti-Vaccine Views After Voicing Contentious Pandemic Film

The "Taken" star has given his vocal talents to a new documentary that challenges the legitimacy of vaccines and praises one-time health official RFK Jr.

The Documentary's Provocative Basis

Named "Plague of Corruption," the film is based on a well-known publication published by a disgraced researcher, who rose to infamy during the pandemic for allegations that the virus was caused by a bad strain of the flu vaccine.

The book's collaborator, a producer, has previously authored books with controversial figure the Infowars host. He wrote online hailing Neeson's role in the film.

A Firm Statement

The team of Liam Neeson have released a statement firmly refuting suggestions that he subscribes to anti-vaccine views.

"Everyone can recognize that unethical practices can exist within the drug industry, but that should never be confused with opposition to vaccines," the response explains. "Liam has never been, and is not, anti-vax. His extensive work with the UN children's agency reinforces his enduring support for global immunisation initiatives."

It continued that the actor had no hand in the project's editorial content and that inquiries about its claims ought to go to the filmmakers.

Key Assertions Within the Documentary

According to the documentary, the script spoken by Neeson features several strong claims:

  • It suggests that pro-vaccine voices have demanded "unconditional submission" to government bodies.
  • It posits that "science has become highly influenced by politics."
  • Kennedy is shown claiming, "The major issue with vaccines is that they just aren't safely tested."
  • The film also criticizes Covid lockdowns, claiming they caused mental anguish that led to the loss of thousands of lives.
  • Regarding Covid vaccines, it references a view that they were "hurriedly approved" and seen as "dangerous experiments."

Past Background and Recent Disputes

It also references a past television report about HIV drug testing on children, which was afterwards the topic of a BBC apology by the corporation for editorial breaches.

In recent weeks, RFK Jr called on the Centers for Disease Control to alter its long-held position that there is no link between immunizations and autism. This claim is repeated in the film, contrary to a new report from the WHO reiterating no evidence has been found.

A Past Statement of Support

Standing in contrast to the documentary's tone, Neeson has previously voiced strong support for vaccines in his position as a UNICEF goodwill ambassador.

Two years ago, he referred to vaccines as "an extraordinary achievement," adding that "The conversation about vaccines in lately has forgotten how much benefit they have done... It is perhaps one of the biggest shared accomplishments in our history."

The film concludes with Neeson's voice saying, "This marks not the finish of our journey. Rather, it is the dawn of a fresh chapter."
